Delete your Linglass account

You can delete your account and everything in it at any time. Here is how to do it, and what happens to your data.

How to delete your account

  1. In the mobile app

    Open Settings, tap Account, then choose Delete account and confirm.

  2. On the web

    Sign in, open Settings, and confirm the deletion in the Account section.

  3. By email

    If you cannot sign in, write to us from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile: name, email address and connected sign-in methods.
  • Every saved word, note and flashcard, together with their review history.
  • Your learning statistics, streaks and usage counters.
  • All active sessions — you are signed out on every device.

What we keep

Payment records are kept in anonymised form, detached from you, because tax and accounting law requires us to retain them. They can no longer be linked to your identity.

If you have a paid subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play — those are managed by the store. Cancel it there first, otherwise billing continues.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
